Paryta is a family organiser app for UK families: one place for the family calendar, school and club dates, pickups, helpers such as grandparents, and life admin, coming soon to iPhone, Android and the web. Grandparents and helpers reply without the app.
Paryta means ready.
Paryta comes from the Latin word parata, which means ready. We spell it with a y.
pa-REE-ta
Said with the stress in the middle, like “pa ree ta”. Ready for the week ahead, ready for the school run, ready when plans change.
None of it is hard on its own.
The trouble is that it never stops, and it all has to be remembered: pickups, clubs, school letters, the car's MOT, the renewal before it rolls over at a higher price, the birthday card that should have gone in the post last Tuesday.
Paryta is built to carry that load: it reads the school emails and letters you forward, asks your helpers for you, warns you before there is a gap, and remembers the renewals and the birthdays.

Why I am building Paryta
I am Alex, and I am building Paryta. I am a single dad with a busy job, and I rely on the grandparents for school and club pickups.
Every week means fitting work around the school run and the clubs, and a stream of messages to work out who can help, and when. Paryta is the app I wanted: one place for all of it, and an easy way to ask for help.
